Suzlon Energy will acquire a 76% stake in Renom Energy Services for Rs 660 crore from the Sanjay Ghodawat Group in two stages. The first stage involves a 51% stake for Rs 400 crore, and the second stage will acquire an additional 25% for Rs 260 crore within 18 months. Renom is the top multi-brand operations and maintenance provider in India, with significant assets in wind and solar energy. This acquisition will enhance Suzlon’s position in renewable energy services, offering growth opportunities in a growing market.
