Sun TV Networks Ltd’s consolidated profit after tax for Q1 FY24-25 fell by 5.48% to Rs 559.58 crore, compared to Rs 592.08 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations decreased by 2.72% to Rs 1,312.40 crore. Total expenses rose by 10% to Rs 709.12 crore. The company declared an interim dividend of Rs 5 per share. Shares of Sun TV Networks rose 3.28% to Rs 914.45. Decline in profit and revenue, but a dividend declaration and stock rise reflect investor confidence.
