Tata Motors reported an 8% decline in total sales at 79,344 units in February, with passenger vehicle sales down 9% and commercial vehicles falling 7%. In contrast, Mahindra & Mahindra posted a 15% growth, selling 83,702 units, driven by strong SUV demand and a 99% jump in exports. A positive rural outlook is expected to support tractor sales, benefiting M&M’s farm equipment segment.
