FPI Withdraws Rs 1.12 Lakh Cr in 2 Months

Foreign Portfolio Investors(FPIs) have withdrawn Rs 1.12 lakh crore from Indian equities in 2025, including Rs 34,574 crore in February, amid high valuations, weak earnings, and global trade tensions. The selling pressure has dragged the Sensex down over 6% year-to-date. FPIs are shifting focus to Chinese stocks due to lower valuations while reducing exposure to Indian financial stocks despite their strong performance.
