Vodafone Idea has launched its 5G services in Mumbai, with plans to expand to 100 cities over the next three years. The telco aims to reduce subscriber churn and compete with Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, which already dominate the 5G space. With a Rs 50,000-55,000 crore capital expenditure plan, Vodafone Idea’s 5G push could strengthen its market position and improve revenue potential.
