India is projected to surpass China in air passenger traffic growth by 2026 with a growth rate of 10.5%, according to Airports Council International (ACI). While China leads in 2024 at 12%, India’s CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) for 2023–2027 stands higher at 9.5% vs China’s 8.8%. With 50 new airports planned and 1,700 aircraft on order, aviation-linked stocks may see strong long-term growth.
