Tata Motors को Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) से 148 electric buses का order मिला है, जो पहले के 921 buses के order के अलावा है। पहले वाले ज्यादातर यूनिट पहले ही डिलीवर हो चुके हैं। Tata Motors की subsidiary TML Smart City Mobility Solutions Tata Starbus EV 12-metre low-floor buses 12 years तक सप्लाई, operate और maintain करेगी, जिससे भारत के electric public transport में कंपनी की लीडरशिप और मजबूत होती है।
