BSE Reports Over 3x Profit Surge in Q1 FY25

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) reported a significant net profit increase of Rs 265 crore for Q1 FY25, up from Rs 75 crore in the same period last year. Revenue surged to Rs 674 crore, compared to Rs 271 crore previously. Average daily turnover in the equity cash segment rose to Rs 9,006 crore from Rs 4,025 crore. BSE also launched single stock derivatives on July 1, 2024, with 155 participants in single stock futures and 35 in options. This strong performance highlights BSE’s growing market influence and potential for future gains in the stock sector.
