FDI in India: Inflows Drop 5.6% Amid Global Uncertainty
Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in India fell 5.6% to USD 10.9 billion in the October- December 2024 quarter due to global economic challenges, down from USD 11.55 billion last year. However, the total FDI for April- December 2024-25 grew 27% to USD 40.67 billion. Sectors like services, telecom, and auto saw gains, boosting stocks in these areas.
