Ola Electric's Losses Widen to Rs 347 Cr

Electric two-wheeler company Ola Electric Mobility mobilized Rs 2,763 crore from anchor investors ahead of its IPO opening on August 2. The anchor round included SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC MF, Nippon India MF, and others. Ola allotted 36.35 crore equity shares at Rs 76 each to 84 funds. The IPO, with a price band of Rs 72-76 per share, includes a fresh issue of Rs 5,500 crore and an offer for sale worth Rs 645.56 crore, totaling Rs 6,145.56 crore. Proceeds will fund cell manufacturing capacity expansion, R&D, debt repayment, and organic growth initiatives.
