Tata Steel: Invests £1.25 Billion in Green Steelmaking

Tata Steel has signed contracts with three South Wales firms for its £1.25 billion green steel project at Port Talbot. The project, aimed at transitioning to Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steelmaking, will create over 300 local jobs. This move is part of Tata’s sustainable steelmaking transformation, backed by £500 million from the UK government, boosting regional employment and supporting the local supply chain.
