UltraTech Cement reported a 17% year-on-year drop in net profit to Rs 1,474 crore for Q3 FY25, despite a 3% rise in revenue to Rs 17,193 crore. Higher expenses impacted profitability, while domestic sales volumes grew 10%. Capacity utilization stood at 73%. Ongoing expansion projects, including recent acquisitions, are set to boost cement capacity beyond 200 million tonnes per annum by FY27, supporting long-term growth prospects.
