Fortis Healthcare’s consolidated profit after tax surged 40% to Rs 174 crore for Q1 ending June 30, 2024, up from Rs 124 crore a year earlier. Revenue rose to Rs 1,859 crore from Rs 1,657 crore. The hospital segment remains strong, contributing 84% to consolidated EBITDA. Fortis is expanding with nearly 700 new beds planned and a 350-bed facility opening in Manesar. While diagnostics performance dipped due to a brand change, early signs of recovery are noted. This growth indicates robust performance and strategic expansion in the healthcare sector.
